AP results at KIPP King

Some AMAZING results on AP exams taken by the students at KIPP King Collegiate High School in San Lorenzo, CA – KUDOS!

 

AP World History - 67% of those who took the exam received a passing score. 8 - 5's; 11 - 4's; 12 - 3's; and 15 - 2's. It is truly unbelievable that not one student out of 48 received a 1.

 

AP English Language and Comp - 61% of those who took the exam received a passing score. 2 - 5's; 1 - 4; 11 - 3's; 7-2's; and 2 - 1's.

 

AP Spanish Language - 82% of those who took the exam received a passing score. 10 - 5's; 12 - 4's; 12 - 3's; 5 - 2's; 2 - 1's.

 

AP Psychology - 56% of those who took the exam received a passing score 1 - 5; 7 - 4's; 1 - 3; 2 - 2's; 5 -1's.

 

AP United States History - 32% of those who took the exam received a passing score. 2 - 5's; 2 - 4's; 8 - 3's; 13 - 2's; 12 - 1's.

 

King finished the year with an astonishing 61% pass rate across 163 exams covering 5 different AP subjects. Even more astonishing is that our kids came through with a 54% pass rate on exams other than AP Spanish Language.

18 students had passing scores on 2 or more exams this year alone.

 

25% of our rising Seniors have received 2 or more passing scores.

 

4 rising Seniors have received 4 passing scores. One of them has received four 5's.

 

1 rising Senior has racked up 5 passing scores! 4 - 5's and 1 – 4
