Charter schools grounded

I had no idea that there were still 8 charters left to give out in NY state!

What Imagine Schools and other groups weren't told is that eight of the state's 100 charters are going unused - even though 22,000 New York children are on waiting lists for seats in charter schools.

The eight unused charters are being held hostage by a wrinkle in state law.
