NJ children deserve better choices; pass the Opportunity Scholarship Act

Rev. Reginald T. Jackson, executive director of the Black Ministers' Council of New Jersey, writes powerfully in support of the NJ bill:

I strongly support the Opportunity Scholarship Act because a quality education is a civil right. I support it because, without a quality education, our children will continue to be unemployed and under-employed, and our urban centers will continue to be economically depressed. I support it because the public school system exists to provide for our children; our children do not exist to provide for it. I support it because our children should get a quality education "by any means necessary." Anyone and everyone who is committed to every child getting a quality education should support the Opportunity Scholarship Act.
