Take'em to school poker challenge

If you're in NYC next Wedesday, I hope you'll join me at a World Poker Tour poker tournament to benefit the Rewarding Achievement (REACH) program that I co-founded a few years ago that gives inner-city high school students academic support and scholarships for passing AP exams.

David Einhorn, Bill Ackman and John and Mike Sabat have all purchased tables, and prizes for the winners of the tournament include your choice of lunch with Bill, David or Michael Porter, five nights at world-class private beach home in Lamu, Kenya, golf and auto racing packages, among others. Seats for poker players are $1,000; if you just want to come for the cocktail reception, it's $175.  You can register at: https://nycup.wufoo.com/forms/take-em-to-school-poker-challenge

I hope to see you there!

Best regards,

Whitney

PS—At 11am that morning (Aug. 11th), over 1,000 of NYC's hardest working, highest achieving students are coming to pick up their checks at the JP Morgan Chase branch at 1411 Broadway (at 39th Street), where there will be a big press conference, etc. to celebrate their success.  If you'd like to come (it's free of course), please email: Cori Okabayashi at Chase: cokabayaski@nycup.org
