Children’s Scholarship Fund

I hope you'll support one of my favorite charities, the Children's Scholarship Fund (run by my dear friend, Darla Romfo), by voting for them to win $200,000 from American Express through Members Project.

Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF) was founded in 1998 by Ted Forstmann and the late John Walton to empower low-income parents to send their children to private schools. Since CSF was founded in 1998, more than 116,000 children across the country have benefited from more than $443 million in scholarships. This year, CSF is providing scholarships for almost 26,500 low-income children nationwide – almost 9,000 here in New York City.  You can read more at www.scholarshipfund.org.

Now CSF has been chosen to participate in Members Project®, a partnership between American Express and TakePart, a social action network, to help people everywhere support charitable organizations – and they have a chance to win $200,000 from American Express.

If you would like to help, all you have to do is join Members Project, and cast a vote for CSF each week starting today Monday, November 29th through Sunday, February 20th. You do not have to be an American Express cardholder to join and vote. After the three-month voting period is complete, Members Project will tally the votes and announce the winners.

To join Members Project and start casting your votes, go to:

http://www.takepart.com/membersproject/vote now!

When you go to Members Project to vote, you will be asked to register with your email address and date of birth (you must be at least 18 to participate), and create a username and password. Once you're done, you can vote up to once a week for Children's Scholarship Fund.

Thank you!
