The Finland Phenomenon: Inside the World's Most Surprising School System.

If you're in DC next Thurs, you MUST go see this – I've seen it and it's outstanding (it's done by Bob Compton, who did my documentary, A Right Denied: www.2mminutes.com/products/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=20):

Dear Whitney,

On Thursday, March 24th at The National Press Club in Washington DC, I will be premiering my 7th documentary on global education - The Finland Phenomenon: Inside the World's Most Surprising School System.

This continues my look at the world's top performing schools which began 4 years ago with the film Two Million Minutes.

The evening will be opened by Finland's Ambassador to the US.

Tom Friedman, John Wilson (Exec Director, NEA), Annemarie Neal (Cisco VP for Global Talent Development) and Gene Wilhoit (Exec Director, Council of Chief State Schools Officers) will comprise the post-screening panel. The moderator will be Dr. Tony Wagner, author of the Global Achievement Gap and Harvard Fellow.

The trailer can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcC2l8zioIw

The premiere starts at 6pm and is invitation only. If anyone on your mailing list would like to attend the premiere, please have them RSVP to me at Bob@2Mminutes.com

Thanks

Bob
