Cristo Rey Network

From my friend Richard Clark of Saint Martin de Porres High School, a member of the Cristo Rey Network, in response to my last email:

 

Excellent info!  Member schools of the Cristo Rey Network use the same kind of context for the college numbers that you did...always a good idea to lead with the horrendous numbers on a national level and then come in with your numbers.  Again, I don't mean to be a pest, but you mentioned that you know of no other high that tracks its students.  As I mentioned in a previous email the Cristo Rey Network is the ONLY national high school network that not only tracks its alums but does it by a third party verification service, the National Student Clearinghouse.  I know that KIPP is actually talking with us on how to roll that out in their own network next year.  You state it perfectly when you say it's not really about anything else but college retention and graduation!  Keep the faith and fight the good fight.
