Camden Public Schools is in the midst of a historic period of change that aims to provide Camden students and families with the educational opportunities they deserve. With its recent state intervention, Camden is uniquely poised to re-focus and transform into a student-focused district where all children have access to an excellent school that will prepare them for the rigors of life beyond high school.

 

Camden, located in southern New Jersey across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, has 26 district and 11 charter schools serving more than 15,000 students, of whom nearly 95 percent qualify for free lunch. And of our 26 district schools, 22 are ranked in the bottom 5% state-wide, including the bottom 3 in the state and 10 of the bottom 17. 

 

We are seeking dynamic leaders, team players, and innovative thinkers who are willing to challenge the status quo to improve the quality of Camden's schools as quickly as possible.
