Teacher union chief in Buffalo

Another friend familiar with Buffalo wrote in response to my comments on Randi in my last email:

You have no idea what an awful teacher's union president is until you have met Phil Rumore, president of the Buffalo Teachers Federation.  Even most union leaders describe him as a dinosaur.  I do not have time to tell you of all the horror stories that he has been involved with at the expense of local kids but I would take Randi over him any day.
