Catholic school scholarships

The Archdiocese of New York asked me to let everyone know about the exciting news that there are 3,500 new scholarships available for low-income NYC children!  Here are the details:

The Inner-City Scholarship Fund of the Archdiocese of New York has received funding for up to 3,500 new scholarships for students entering Catholic schools in grades K-6 in September. The Fund needs your help in identifying deserving children. The only criteria are children must not already be enrolled in a Catholic School and can demonstrate financial need.

The name of the program is the Cardinal's Scholarship Program and has already enrolled 3,700 students in 2006 and 2007.

For more information and applications, contact Susan George at Susan.George@archny.org, visit www.scholarshipfund.org for applications or call 212-515-7137.  Families may also go to any Catholic Elementary School in Manhattan or the Bronx to receive an application form from the Principal.
