Bursting the Dam
For decades, education reformers have been making remarkable strides with students, showing what's possible with a little elbow grease (or a lot, in most cases).
But only over the past few years have reformers been able to generate the political chutzpah to see their innovations scaled up throughout the country.
Our electoral successes during the next twenty-four months will determine whether we continue to influence the political power structure. Between defending elected leaders who went out on a limb for students and putting new leadership in place where defenders of the status quo remain, we have a lot of work to do. If we don't get complacent, we have the potential to burst the dam that has long held back progressive education reforms around the nation.

Some of the elections mentioned in this report are literally a few days away, so please check it out today.

Time really is a-wastin'. Thanks for making this a priority.
