I'm dedicating another email entirely to rebutting Diane Ravitch's arguments (read: distortions) – not because she alone is worth so much attention, but rather because what she is saying represents so perfectly the arguments by the unions and other defenders of the status quo, so the facts and arguments used to rebut her can be applied much more broadly.
