EXCLUSIVE: Michelle Rhee, the former D.C. schools chancellor, will announce on a pre-taped "Oprah" segment today that she is taking her brassy education-reform ideas national by starting an advocacy group that will draw on the natural grassroots power of teachers, parents and pupils. Rhee will be meeting with teachers to seek input, as well as parents and pupils. She outlines her new plan on the cover of this week's Newsweek, which is being kept under wraps until after "Oprah" airs in Chicago this a.m. (Yes, we tried Union Station last night.) Rhee's new website goes live at 10 a.m. ET.
