Shaking History

This looks like a great effort!  I've donated $100.

On January 14th, 2011, John-Clark Levin and Joe Luchsinger will represent Teach For America in a record-breaking charity competition. At Father Duffy Square in Times Square, New York City, three to six teams of some of the world's greatest Guinness World RecordTM holders will compete to break the world record for the "Longest Continuous Handshake." Donations from the public will be received throughout the event, and the last team still shaking wins a majority of the total proceeds for the charity it is competing for. Throughout the event, donations can be made on http://www.shakinghistory.com. The current world record stands at 19 hours and 35 minutes. The new record is projected to be 24 to 48 hours, or longer. More information about the event can be found on http://www.shakinghistory.com.
