Shaking History

This looks like a great effort!  I've donated $100.

 

On January 14^th, 2011, John-Clark Levin and Joe Luchsinger will represent Teach For America in a record-breaking charity competition. At Father Duffy Square in Times Square, New York City, three to six teams of some of the world's greatest Guinness World Record^TM holders will compete to break the world record for the "Longest Continuous Handshake." Donations from the public will be received throughout the event, and the last team still shaking wins a majority of the total proceeds for the charity it is competing for. Throughout the event, donations can be made on http://www.shakinghistory.com. The current world record stands at 19 hours and 35 minutes. The new record is projected to be 24 to 48 hours, or longer.
