A Chance To Make History

If you're in the Bay Area on April 21st, be sure to come hear Wendy Kopp talk about her new book:

Wendy Kopp, founder and CEO of Teach For America, will be visiting the Bay Area on April 21 to discuss her new book, A Chance To Make History. The Bay Area is currently home to 400 corps members and 1,400 alumni. In Wendy's own words: "My hope is that the book will help convey to a broader audience the sense of possibility we all feel about the solvability of educational inequity, and that it will advance the public discussion around what it will take to realize this vision – moving us beyond a fixation on silver bullet solutions and silver blames (it's the kids, or the parents, or the unions, or the teachers)."
