New Orleans

Regarding my last email about John White going to New Orleans: a) In saying Katrina was the best thing ever to happen to NO public schools, I wasn't minimizing the horrors of that hurricane – I thought it went without saying – rather, I was pointing out that in sweeping away one of the worst school systems in the country, some small bit of good came of it; b) I forgot to give a shout-out to Sarah Usdin and New Schools for New Orleans.
