Visit to KIPP RISE

I visited KIPP RISE in Newark on Monday with the rest of the board of the Pershing Sq. Foundation and it's as incredible as I remember it – truly one of the greatest public schools in America.  This collage of four photos shows two things I hadn't seen before: the Reading Hall of Fame (pics 1-3) and a great slogan on the school shirt: "The credit belongs to the person who, if he fails, at least fails daring greatly." – Theodore Roosevelt.
