"What we’re looking for is Waiting for Superman kids"

A very interesting comment told to me by a friend, whose friend interviews applicants to an Ivy League school: "We see so many Race to Nowhere kids that I don't want to see another one.  What we're looking for is Waiting for Superman kids."  My thought: just wait until the students who started in kindergarten (or pre-K) at schools like KIPP and Harlem Success start applying to college in about eight years!
