The launch of Learn, Earn, Win!

The launch of Learn, Earn, Win!, the AP prep sessions that are an integral part of the REACH program, was a home run on Saturday, as nearly 1,000 of the hardest working high school students in NYC showed up.  Below are two pictures: one of the crowd and one of the DOE's Eric Nadelstern, who spoke to the students, and two amazing REACH Scholars, including my mentee, Angel Batista, who recently earned early admission to MIT.  (I wrote about Angel here: http://edreform.blogspot.com/2010/01/ok-enough-about-turkeys-lets-talk-about.html)
