Gotta love this bit of cleverness – someone has started a Twitter account called OldDianeRavitch at http://mobile.twitter.com/olddianeravitch that posts old quotes from her that are completely at odds with her current views. There are some real gems! My favorite: "NYC schools chancellor should have the power to close schools that consistently fail or engage in corrupt practices." Today, of course, Ravitch doesn't believe that any school should ever be closed for ANY reason:
